Huang Shan Mao Feng

Our organic Huang Shan Mao Feng tea (aka Yellow Mountain Fur Peak) comes from Huangshan (the high mountain), a beautiful high-altitude UNESCO world heritage site known as “Yellow Mountain”, whose natural climate is an ideal environment for nurturing high mountain teas shrouded with mist. 

Small leaves and buds of the tea are plucked in the early spring when the tea buds are most tender and rich in nutrients. The delicate plucking and processing procedures are completed in the same way to ensure the tea's high quality.

Tender small leaves and Huang Shan Mao Feng buds infuse into a perfectly translucent light green liquor. The dry tea leaves are fine and straight, with a yellowish-green color with a strong fragrance. Flavour is smooth, delicate, and slightly sweet — an intriguing mix of buttery, floral, grassy and lightly vegetal.

Brewing instructions: Use approximately 2.5 grams of tea leaves for every 250 ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 80°C for 3 minutes.

Keep in an airtight container, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
